Terms of Service

1. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Platform. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
2. You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
3. You must not be a person barred from using the Platform under applicable Indian law, including but not limited to individuals with a history of sexual offences or convictions that would make their use of the Platform unlawful or unsafe for other users.
4. Praav is a secular platform. Registration and matching are not conditioned on, and do not use, caste, horoscope, or religious filters. You agree not to attempt to circumvent this design (for example, by soliciting caste or horoscope information from other users for matching purposes on the Platform).

1. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep this information updated.
2. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
3. You may not create more than one account, impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
4. You may not create an account on behalf of someone else without their explicit consent.

1. Praav is a platform that facilitates connections for dating, marriage, and friendship purposes.
2. Praav does not conduct comprehensive background checks on users. You are responsible for exercising your own judgment and caution when interacting with, meeting, or sharing information with other users.
3. Praav does not guarantee compatibility, relationship outcomes, or the accuracy of any user's profile information beyond the verification steps described in our Privacy Policy (if any).

You agree that you will not:

• Provide false, misleading, or impersonated information on your profile;
• Harass, stalk, threaten, or abuse another user, whether on or off the Platform;
• Post or share content that is obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, defamatory, hateful, or that promotes violence or discrimination on the basis of religion, race, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or place of birth;
• Solicit money, gifts, or financial information from other users, or engage in any form of romance scam or financial fraud;
• Use the Platform for commercial solicitation, advertising, or promotion without our written consent;
• Upload content that infringes any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access or interact with the Platform;
• Share another user's personal information (including screenshots of conversations) without their consent;
• Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with the security features of the Platform;
• Use the Platform if you are married and misrepresent yourself as single, unless the Platform feature in question is explicitly intended for such use.

1. We encourage users, particularly when meeting in person for the first time, to meet in public places, inform a friend or family member of their plans, and avoid sharing sensitive financial or personal information with new connections.
2. Praav provides in-app reporting and blocking tools. We encourage you to use them and to report any conduct that violates these Terms.
3. Praav reserves the right, but is not obligated, to investigate and take appropriate action against any user who violates these Terms, including warning, suspending, or terminating accounts, and removing content.

1. You retain ownership of the content (photos, text, and other materials) you upload to the Platform ("User Content").
2. By posting User Content, you grant Praav a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute such content solely for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the Platform.
3. You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to all User Content you upload, and that it does not violate any third party's rights or applicable law.
4. We reserve the right to remove any User Content that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms or applicable law.

1. Certain features of the Platform are offered on a paid subscription basis, as described at the point of purchase. As an introductory welcome offer, male users are currently charged ₹1,000 for the first 6 months of access. This pricing is an introductory offer and may be revised at our discretion; any change will be communicated to users prior to renewal.
2. Praav may offer differentiated pricing or free/discounted access to women users for a limited period. This is intended to encourage adoption by women users on a platform without an established track record, address the Platform's gender imbalance, and give newly joined women users a reasonable period to evaluate the Platform and build trust before being asked to pay, while giving male users a correspondingly longer window to connect with these newer profiles. We reserve the right to modify, extend, shorten, or discontinue this offer at any time.
3. All fees are stated in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise specified and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
4. Except as required by law or as expressly stated in our refund policy (if any), payments are non-refundable.
5. We will notify users of any change to pricing or the structure of fees (including the end of any introductory or gender-based offer) in advance of it taking effect for that user's account.

1. The Platform, including its design, logos, trademarks, text, graphics, and software, is the property of Praav LLP or its licensors and is protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws.
2. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Platform without our prior written consent.

1. You may deactivate or delete your account at any time through the Platform's account settings or by contacting us.
2. We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or harmful conduct, or if required to do so by law.
3. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease. Sections relating to Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnity, and Governing Law shall survive termination.

1. THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
2. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any match or connection will result in a safe, successful, or desired outcome.
3. Praav is not responsible for the conduct, whether online or offline, of any user of the Platform.

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable Indian law, Praav LLP, its partners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, whether based on contract, tort, or any other legal theory, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Praav LLP, its partners, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the Platform or email. Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Kerala, India.
